Our principal in Exeter and Cullompton is Anna Ruddick
Anna grew up in Devon and took singing, piano and cello lessons as well as studying ballet, tap and modern dance. This developed a love of performing at an early age and she regularly appeared in local venues such as The Barnfield Theatre and Exeter Cathedral as well as national venues including The Royal Albert Hall and The Royal Festival Hall.
Following a scholarship to study at Dartington International Summer School, Anna went on to train in London and gained an Honours degree in Music and Management before qualifying as a music and drama teacher. After teaching music and drama at a secondary school in the UK, and working with various arts organisations, Anna attained a performing arts teaching position at an International school in Hong Kong where she spent several years.
Since returning to the UK, Anna coached children to the highest performance standards for the national tours of Joseph and his Techicolour Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar, various film, television and radio appearances including Casualty and Doctor Who, and led troupes to perform in a huge range of venues including Her Majesty’s Theatre, London, numerous regional theatres and the Birmingham NEC.
Anna’s experience includes tutoring children of all ages in music and drama examinations but she particularly enjoys producing, directing and devising performances with work ranging from ‘The Wiz’ and ‘Oliver’ to a devised show titled ‘Alien Invasion!’ This experience led her to establish a highly successful, oversubscribed children’s theatre school before returning to Devon with her young family.
Anna is delighted to open Razzamataz Theatre Schools in Devon and looks forward to helping students reach their full potential and experience the thrill of performance.

Inters and Seniors - 10am - 1pm

Spring Term - Saturday January 10th - Saturday April 4th
(no classes on February 14th.)
Summer Term - Saturday April 25th - Saturday July 18th (no classes on May 23rd.)
