Our principal at Nottingham is Sylvia Stewart.
Sylvia began singing and dancing as a young child and always dreamed of being a teacher. Alongside successfully gaining qualifications in performing arts with a specialism in singing, Sylvia developed her performance experience which is now extensive and ranges from rock bands to weddings bands! Her pastimes include writing songs, poems and scripts, playing an extensive range of musical instruments including the violin, piano, guitar and trumpet and spending time with her family.
Sylvia has spent many years volunteering at a local school and has been their creative director for the past four years.
Sylvia comes from a musical background and has delighted in passing these skills onto her own children. She is very excited to be working with the young people of Nottingham and developing not only their skills but also their confidence and self-esteem.
