Terms and Conditions
We respectfully request that all parents, guardians and students read and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. “No obligation” taster sessions are available on request (Not available at a launch)
2. Fees are paid before the term commences or monthly by standing order. Standing Orders: Razzamataz Theatre Schools run for 9 months of the year however standing orders are spread over 12 months of the year. S.O service only available after your child’s first full term. An annual admin fee of £12 will be added.
3. Post dated cheques are also a payment option, with a £3 admin fee.
4. We require 2 month’s payment when using the standing order service (one month’s deposit and one month’s fees) and then, request that your standing order be set up for the following month. Any refunds of deposits would be calculated on leaving.
5. A non-refundable 20% deposit must be paid from one term to the next, to secure your child’s place.
6. If a student leaves before the end of a term, no refunds will be given.
7. We must be given two full months notice in writing if a student wishes to leave Razzamataz Theatre Schools in order to calculate fees (S.O.) and to give another child the opportunity to take their place (if standing ordered cancelled, shortfall must be paid by cash or cheque).
8. When you pay your first instalment by cash/cheque before you have set up you standing order, please ensure that it is in place for the second month, if it is not your child could be asked to leave.
9. There will be an annual increase on our fees every September.
10. A copy of our child protection policy is available on request.
11. Uniforms and dance shoes are available from Razzamataz. If you order any merchandise in the wrong size, please be expected to pay the postage and packaging for the return of the item. Only discreet jewellery and/accessories to be worn to Razzamataz for safety reasons.
12. Uniforms must be worn at every session (compulsory item – round neck t shirt).
13. Any student wishing to take part in our performances may be required to purchase costumes which will then be yours to keep. Also we may require you to provide basic items for performances. The costumes ordered will be by the measurements you have provided and will be non-returnable.
14. Razzamataz Theatre Schools aim to provide the very best in training in the performing arts. We will implement fun and also discipline to do this.
15. If we feel that any student is being disruptive on a regular basis, we will issue a verbal warning. If this continues, a written warning will follow, then exclusion from the school.
16. We would appreciate if all/any monies (i.e. fees, merchandise etc) is given to us in a sealed envelope with the students name on the front.
17. On occasions, we will have promotional pictures and footage being taken; we will require a written request if you do not wish for your child to take part.
18. Our annual performance may be recorded professionally – personal cameras and recording equipment are unfortunately not permitted.
19. Any student found ‘texting’ or talking on a mobile phone during class time will automatically receive a written warning. The phone will be confiscated and returned at the end of the session.
20. We advise that your child does not bring any valuables (i.e. phones, jewellery etc) with them to Razzamataz as we cannot be held responsible for them
21. ALL students 16 years & under must be signed IN and OUT; all children will be registered at every lesson and at the end of the session. No child will be allowed to leave unless signed out. Written permission must be given if you wish your child to sign themselves in and out. Our responsibility ends when the session ends, unless we are informed by a Parent/Guardian.
22. If you are going to be late to pick your child/ren up, you must make contact with the Principal or a teacher or the venue to inform us.
23. Any student entering any TV talent competitions or such like must inform their Principal if wishing you enter using the Razzamataz Theatre Schools Name.
24. A fee of £5 per month will be added for late payment of fees.
25. Any charges we incur due to returned cheques will be passed onto the customer for payment.
26. Any student who takes part in more than 3 performances outwith Razzamataz must inform your Principal immediatley as your child must only take part if four performances per year.
27. Please put your childs name on all uniform and costumes as Razzamataz cannot be held responsible for any lost items.
28. If you are late paying fees this will incur a fine.
29. It is the parents responsibility to let your Principal at Razzamataz Theatre Schools know if your child (aged 16 years and under) has taken part in any more than 4 performances in a six month period, and if so, you must obtain a licence to take part in a Razzzamataz Theatre Schools production. Ask your Principal for assistance if you are unsure how to go about this.
30. Filming at in-house end of term presentations is at the Principals discretion, if you are permitted to film you must NOT post any footage on any social networking sites or anywhere on the internet, filming at large scale theatre productions is not permitted
31. F ee invoices will be issued 10 days prior to each term commencing.
32. In-house presentations may be filmed (at the Principals discretion), however they are for personal use only and must NOT be posted on any social networking sites
